Dear Enemy, I Love You.
By The Rev. Dr. Johnnie Colemon

Has anyone wronged you?

Has anyone talked about you in a very negative way, and even told a few lies on you and about you?

Has someone mistreated you to the place that you decided that this has gone far enough and you can't tolerate it anymore?

Has it gone to the place where you think that you can't forgive them, and you know that you can't forget them?

I am asking you again to say to yourselves and to those that you have called seeming enemies 'Dear enemy, I love you. Not because I really want to, but I love you because I have to.

I have to love you because the hate and the resentment that has been buried subconsciously will not hurt you. It will only hurt me.

Nobody is worth me making myself sick in my body or in my pocketbook.' They are not worth it.

Why Love?

"There is no difficulty that enough love will not conquer. No disease that enough love will not heal.  No wall that enough love will not throw down.  No sin that enough love will not redeem. If only you can love enough you would be the happiest most powerful person in the Universe."

Emmett Fox.
